Violet Tea Blend
The Violet Blend is a cherry and orange white tea dotted with orange blossoms, impatiens, peony petals, pink bachelor’s button petals, chrysanthemum, and of course, dried violet blooms. The result is a wonderful tea blend where the full, sweet flavors of the flowers pair impeccably with the drying nature of the white tea, and the deep, mellow flavors of the cherry balance out the tart zing of the dried orange. The resulting brew is a refreshing, flavorful cup of tea that will brighten up any day!
This blend is inspired by the lesbian flag and all of the different folks that find themselves somewhere in those stripes. The Violet blend was named for Sappho’s immortal poem “I Have Had One Word From Her,” in which the poet mourns the separation of her and her lover recounting “all of the loveliness we shared, all the violet tiaras, braided rosebuds, dill and crocus twined around your young neck…”
As always, our teas are packaged in 100% home-compostable bioplastic and are made with organic ingredients!
